Sunday River is the mountain I was born and raised on. My family and myself have been going there since I was a little girl. It's 3,335 ft. which is located in Oxford Country, Maine. The views from the top are glorious, you can see mountains forever. Having eight mountain peaks with 132 trails and 671 acres of skiing and ridding. While I was there this two Falls ago it was the 11th Annual North American Wife Carrying Championships. I snapped a few pictures through out the day, one of a husband and wife, one of Sunday River as a whole, and a sneak peak of the new "Chondola" going up the upcoming winter. Which is one part chairlift and one part gondola, all parts party in the sky.

Not only is Sunday River big on their slops, trails and celebrations but also online. They have expanded not only on their trails but globally. Going online, and being able to check out the conditions, see the latest event or activity right at your fingertips. Allowing people to view the dates of certain events permitting them to plan a trip to Sunday River. You can click here and start your venture to Maine! Also find them on Facebook and Twitter too. Enjoy the great
outdoors.
